Wild Pheasants at Cork Golf Club

Wild Pheasants have roamed Little Island for many years. Recently their tamer cousins have been introduced to Cork Golf Club and now provide some beautiful distraction to those playing the old Alister MacKenzie links. They are now successfully breeding within the club and you can often see their chicks during summer months. This year saw the arrival of an albino pheasant. Keep an eye out for it when playing the 8th and 9th holes.
